Imagine waking up one day, writing down a bold declaration about your future, and then—within 24 hours—unexpected financial abundance appears in your life. Sounds like something out of a movie, right? But this happened to me. And it wasn’t magic. It was science, psychology, and the power of the human mind working in perfect sync.
The Day I Found Money

I was decluttering, shifting my environment, and—unbeknownst to me—also shifting something deeper within myself. I wasn’t just getting rid of old things; I was making space for something new.
Then, in my late grandmother’s purse, I found money. Lots of it.
Different currencies, coins from various countries, a mix of old and new bills. It wasn’t just the amount; it was the symbolism. It was as if money had been waiting for me to claim it, to recognize it, to acknowledge that it was always there—right within reach.
But here’s where it gets even stranger.
Just the day before, I had written out a powerful, rhythmic statement about my financial future, an Impact Rap. I had boldly declared that abundance was flowing to me, that I was creating impact, that money was an ally, not an obstacle. And suddenly, physical proof of that statement appeared in my hands. And within a day! This is crazy!
Was it coincidence? Or something much, much deeper?
The Neuroscience of Why This Works
Before you dismiss this as a fluke, let’s break down the actual brain science behind why setting bold intentions—especially through rhythm, writing, and spoken word—restructures the way we see reality.
1. The Reticular Activating System (RAS): Your Brain’s Gatekeeper
The Reticular Activating System (RAS), part of the mammalian brain, is the part of your brain that filters information. Every second, your senses take in millions of bits of data—but your RAS only lets in what it believes is relevant to you. Your brain is not just a passive observer of reality—it’s an active sculptor of it. The Reticular Activating System (RAS) is your brain’s gatekeeper, filtering over 11 million bits of information per second, yet only allowing 40 to 50 bits into your conscious awareness. That means 99.9% of reality is ignored—unless your RAS deems it important. And what makes it important? Repetition, rhythm, and emotion.
Think about it like this: Have you ever learned a new word and suddenly started seeing it everywhere? Or you decided on a specific car you want, and then that exact car keeps popping up on the road? That’s your RAS at work.
The moment you tell your brain something matters, it starts filtering the world to show you proof of that belief.
So when I declared my financial future through bold words and rhythm, I was giving my RAS new instructions. I was telling my brain:
➡ “Opportunities for financial abundance matter. Show me where they are.”➡ “Money is not something to resist. It’s an ally.”➡ “My actions and impact are tied to my income.”
And suddenly, my brain started making connections it hadn’t before. I noticed money. I found money. But more importantly, I started shifting my relationship with it.

When you write, speak, or rhythmically declare something, you’re manipulating what your brain perceives as relevant. This is how you literally reshape reality.
Let’s compare different affirmation styles based on their neurological impact:
Flat, generic affirmations ("I am successful") → 5-10% impact. Most people feel no emotional connection, so the brain ignores them.
Written affirmations → 15-25% impact. Writing engages the motor cortex, reinforcing the idea slightly better.
Spoken rhythmic affirmations (Impact Rap) → 40-50% impact. Rhythm activates Broca’s and Wernicke’s areas, tying language to deeper cognitive processing.
High-energy, emotional, rhythmic Impact Rap → Up to 80% impact. Emotional intensity triggers the limbic system, making the message deeply ingrained and highly actionable.
But What If You Could Go Even Further?
Now, let’s take this a step beyond. If rhythm, writing, and spoken word already rewire your brain up to 80%, what happens when you add something even more powerful—full sensory visualization?
Imagine this: you’re not just rapping about moving into your campervan; you’re seeing it, feeling it, and living it in your mind as if it’s happening now.
The sun warms your skin. Your boots hit the ground. A cool breeze rushes past as you step out, taking in the open road. You feel money flowing to you effortlessly, the relief, the excitement—it's all real in your mind.
This isn’t just imagination. It’s high-level neural activation.
When you combine rhythm, emotion, and deep visualization, your brain doesn’t know the difference between reality and mental rehearsal. Your visual cortex (responsible for actual sight) lights up as if you’re physically seeing your dream unfold. Your somatosensory system makes you feel the sensations. Your limbic system pumps out the emotions tied to that experience.
Studies show that mental rehearsal can improve real-life performance by up to 45%. Athletes do this before competitions, and their muscles fire as if they’re actually practicing. Your brain primes your body, your emotions, and your actions as if your new reality is already here.
If your brain and body only needed 100% to take action, why do some people still hesitate? Why do affirmations alone (which barely reach 10%) fail? The truth is, your subconscious mind has resistance—layers of doubt, fear, and ingrained patterns.
But when you immerse yourself fully—with words, rhythm, emotion, and visualization—you’re hacking past that resistance. You’re overwriting old mental scripts faster. You’re not just hitting the threshold of change; you’re breaking through the barriers that kept you stuck.
You don’t have to force manifestation. You don’t have to obsess over results. You just have to align your brain so deeply with what you want that your decisions, actions, and energy naturally bring it into your life.
This is why Impact Rap works. This is why your reality shifts.
This is why—when I wrote mine—I found unexpected money the very next day.
And if this can happen in 24 hours, imagine what’s possible when you truly step into this practice.
2. The Power of Language in Rewiring the Brain
Neuroscientists have long studied neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to rewire itself based on experience and repetition. Words aren’t just sounds; they are instructions to the brain.
Studies show that repeating affirmations and rhythmic statements engages the left prefrontal cortex, the area associated with goal-setting and motivation. But when you add emotion and conviction, you activate the limbic system, where deep beliefs and emotional attachments are stored. If you write something bold, rhythmic, and emotionally charged, your brain starts treating it as a fact. It stops seeing it as wishful thinking and starts looking for ways to make it real.

3. The Psychology of Ownership: Why Finding Money Wasn’t Random
There’s a concept in psychology called the endowment effect—the idea that we assign more value to things once we feel ownership over them. This applies to money, too.
For most of my life, I saw money as something external, something I had to chase. But the moment I shifted my mindset—through intentional words and rhythm—I started claiming money as an ally. And almost instantly, my brain responded.
